“When you are in a Dark Room, you Learn to do a Simple Move: to Push the Switch and Turn on the Light…Simple, Isn’t it?”

Friday 17 Nov 2023

For some, life is an adventure, a beautiful or challenging one. For others, it is a simple or complicated journey or a mountain difficult to climb, and there are those who consider it a miracle regardless of any difficulties or conveniences that may exist.

One wonders then, does the thread of Ariadne, which can lead us out of the labyrinth, exist? And where does the Socratic ‘know thyself’ science, art and philosophy meet the simple actions in our everyday lives? Is the world the way you see it? And what does ‘see’ mean in this instance? And, in the end…can it be something so simple as pushing the switch and turning on the light in a dark room?

Let us discover the answers to all these through a richly illustrated and multidimensional presentation accompanied by chorodromena, book readings, videos and much more.

The presentation will be done in both Greek and English.

Event organised by Omilos Eksipiretiron (Servers’ Society).
