The Ring: A Tale of Cretan Resistance Against the Nazis

Thursday 29 May 2025

Award-winning performance storyteller Anna Conomos-Wedlock presents her new work, The Ring—a gripping tale of bravery, sacrifice, and the unbreakable spirit of a child messenger who risked everything for freedom during the Cretan Resistance against Nazi forces. This dramatic performance blends theatrical storytelling with music and songs from the island of Crete, bringing to life an unforgettable chapter in history.

Τhe performance also marks the eighty year anniversary of the Cretan resistance.
