Runciman Award Ceremony 2024

Monday 17 Jun 2024

Since 1986, The Anglo-Hellenic League Runciman Award has been given every year for the best book published in English anywhere in the world in the previous year on a Greek subject. The ceremony is our annual opportunity to announce the winning book, award the prize to the winning author, and celebrate all of the books long-listed and short-listed for the prize.

At this year’s ceremony, the keynote address will be given by Prof. Alexander Lingas. The winning book will be announced by Prof. Judith Mossman, the chair of judges. Prof. Gonda Van Steen and Dr John Kittmer will give welcome addresses.

The event will be livestreamed on Zoom. Registration for the event is compulsory. Places are free.

Details of how to register in person and on Zoom will be released on the League’s website from 17 May 2024.
