Human Rights in relation to the Property Issue in Cyprus – Latest Developments

The latest developments in Cyprus and the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) will be presented in the light of the 30 year anniversary of the commencement of Loizidou v Turkey.

The presentation, in which questions will follow, will be made by Achilleas Demetriades, the lawyer in the case and will deal with the latest developments of the caselaw before the ECtHR as well as those on the ground in relation to the Immovable Property Commission that Turkey has set up in the occupied part of Nicosia.
