Christoforos Savva: Unbound – Guided Tour

Guided tour by art theorist, Ioulita Toumazi

Ioulita Toumazi is an art theorist, curator and writer from Cyprus. She holds an MA in History of Art from UCL and a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Kent. Her research revolves around contemporary Cypriot art, post-colonialism and identity politics. She has curated the exhibition “Seeking Roots” at NiMAC and co-curated the exhibition “8΄20”: Vera Gavrielidou-Hadjida” at Garage art space. She has been the project manager of various cultural projects such as “The Broken Pitcher” at Thkio Ppalies and “Christoforos Savvas: Unbound” at the Hellenic Centre in London. In the past year she wrote and co-directed the performance “setting the codes for the heart of a dream” and she has published texts with “This Unreal Country” and “Super Effective”.
