Cyprus: a Culinary Journey
Marianne Salentin-Trager will be presenting the book she has edited on the hospitality and food that characterize Cyprus, the island of Aphrodite: scented wild herbs, aromatic mountain honey, fresh fish and sun-ripened vegetables tantalize the palate and the nose. Carob caramel, preserved fruit, delicious goat’s cheese, and spicy meat specialities manifest culinary delights from the Troodos mountains to the Mediterranean coast.
The presentation will be complimented by an exhibition of photographs from the book.
