Marianna Sidiropoulou is a HCPC registered clinical psychologist. She is a practicing psychotherapist with 12 years of experience and a member of the British Psychological Society. Ms Sidiropoulou studied psychology at Southampton University and completed her MSc Counselling Psychology at City University of London. She was subsequently trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Hellenic Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in Greece. She is currently conducting her doctoral research on Women and Leadership at Birkbeck, University of London.
Her dual background of clinical and organisational psychology has brought a wealth of experience on stress, psychosomatic illness, personality disorders and relationship difficulties on both the personal and workplace life. I am a Principal Counselling Psychologist at Hertfordshire NHS Community Mental Health service. I obtained my first degree (Bachelor’s) in Psychology from the Panteio University in Athens, Greece and a Practitioner’s Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of Teesside, UK. Marina Christoforidou, BSC MA
I am a qualified psychoanalytic psychotherapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic council (BPC). I work with people to help them make more conscious choices in life and to eventually break repetitive patterns. Psychoanalytic-Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is an effective therapeutic approach that helps people make sense of and deal with emotional difficulties.
I am particularly interested in helping people manage and understand the emotional difficulties caused by migration. The process of living in a foreign country could be exciting but also overwhelming and -possibly- traumatic. I provide a safe space to explore this experience.
